About this deal

Hawk starts his story by saying that it all started at the Mini-Golf & Arcade where Miguel got a note and thought it was from Sam telling him to meet her for a date, but it turned out to be a gang of thugs. After Miguel beat up the thugs, they drive away and a map flies out of their car, which Miguel shows to Johnny. Johnny and Miguel conclude that it might be Daniel trying to get revenge for his trauma in high school. They go to Smitty's Diner where they find Kyler. He was following instructions from an unidentified martial artist, saying to come to the diner if he wants revenge on Miguel. Their next destination is the mall because Miyagi-Do was using it as their next meeting spot where they might be preparing another trap, so they go to investigate. They defeat Demetri and a thug name Shawn. Afterwards, a mall cop shows up and captures Shawn, but everyone else manages to escape. They later head to the All-Valley Tournament campus after receiving a falsified tournament invitation. Upon arrival, Cobra Kai defeats Xander and Robby. Their next destination is Weinberg TV Studios where they find Johnny's step father, Sid. They learn that he partnered up with Miyagi-Do to make a movie. They then go to the high school, where they defeat Sam.

So far as team-ups go, the most exciting pairing by far comes from a completely unexpected source. Amanda LaRusso is mad as hell that this karate nonsense resulted in a bunch of hooligans breaking into her home and threatening her kids’ lives, but we see a surprising amount of empathy from her once she learns the story of one of the offending Cobra Kai. The growth we see from both her and this character is perhaps what leaves me most excited for Season 5. While moves are easy to perform, I found them a bit counter-intuitive to do as you’ll be using these more often than the basic moves due to crowd control and maximum damage. They have a brief cooldown each time, and the wait isn’t an issue, I personally didn’t like holding the shoulder buttons almost constantly. Their next destination is Oaks on the Beach Club, where they find Trey and get information that he was under instructions by the same martial artist to pass out falsified tournament fliers. Cobra Kai's next destination is the Beach Bonfire where they find Yasmine, who is upset at Cobra Kai for showing up at her party uninvited. They find out that the same martial artist had the All Valley Tournament sponsor her party and only requested for her to appear, prompting them to conclude that Miyagi-do is behind it. The next place they go to is 5th Avenue Bar, where they find Armand and get information on what he's up to with Miyagi-Do, but he tells them that he came to the bar for a business meeting with a buyer to tell him that he wanted to buy the strip mall because he had plans for true karate, but he missed his deal and blames Cobra Kai for it. Cobra Kai heads to the Valley Fest, concluding Daniel was the mastermind and promptly defeat him.Cobra Kai's fifth season breaks tradition with the last two outings, which have premiered at year's end, with a September debut and a conclusion that, for the first time, feels like default closure should the series not return for another run. It's because of things feeling a little too neat and tidy come the finish line that Season 5 feels a little less organic than what's preceded it. That being said, in true Cobra Kai fashion, there are still plenty of crowd-pleasing moments, an abundance of heart-melting sentiment, and some joyous usage of franchise legacy characters that help make these 10 "summer break" episodes most triumphant. IGN's Amelia Emberwing gave the previous season of Cobra Kai a 7/10, writing that it "most certainly has Netflix DNA for better and for worse. Still, the heart and soul of what makes the series what it is, is still present." Read the full review here. Still, that hokeyness is met in kind by a more emotionally challenging season. Tory’s (Peyton List) story most certainly wins MVP this year, with Hawk (Jacob Bertrand) coming in at a close second. Each of them find their dynamics challenged in completely different ways, continuing Cobra Kai’s strong success with its large ensemble. Character Swap System - Choose your Dojo then seamlessly swap between your favorite characters within, including Miyagi Do's Daniel, Robby, Sam and Demetri; or Cobra Kai's Johnny, Miguel, Hawk and Tory.

Real actor voices to most of the fighters is refreshing. The enemies you fight is a bit out there ranging from Hipsters, Hippies, Karen Moms, Emos and Car salesmen. Feuds don’t end in a day. But, the problem here is that Johnny and Daniel have already spent three seasons gradually learning that maybe there are some grey areas in their whole yin and yang relationship. Seeing it remain such a plot point after we’ve spent three years with their “on again off again” frenemyship is a little frustrating. Super Cheats is an unofficial resource with submissions provided by members of the public. These are not usually tested by us (because there are so many), so please use Just to be at a point now where Daniel and Johnny can operate as full friends, and see the actual benefits in each others' style (this season has a fun element where the two seem to switch roles for a while), is incredible. The same can be said for Daniel and Chozen (Yuji Okumoto), and it's actually Chozen's role this season that shines the brightest. Whether he's serving the drama or the comedy, Chozen becomes a much more rounded character in Season 5 as Daniel's bizarre "ride or die" against Terry Silver. Though this year's offering is firmly rooted in the events of The Karate Kid Part III (there's even a new villain brilliantly sprung from a throwaway line in that film) Chozen remains a lingering part of the second movie that still feels worthy of exploring here. What We Said About Cobra Kai Season 4 Starting with Miguel, the gameplay was much better, an initial super being a tiger uppercut style punch that was useful, and the flames actually worked well. Before long, classic Johnny was in the mix, but his double spinning punch was so lame, it should have been reserved for Demetri. The crane. Source: PR Slide To The RightUsing the elements to identify each other wasn’t the best, in my opinion, and while realism isn’t the focus, some of the effects in Cobra Kai The Karate Kid Saga Continues are a bit over the top, and special effects will appear mid-screen, overlapping other graphical elements. Only a minor flaw, but this coupled with the bush baby eyes of Sam (didn’t look good) made me exit out and switch to Cobra Kai. Hawk and Demetri are in the principal's office for the complete chaos that happened all over the valley, while arguing over who's telling the truth over how it all started. The principal tells them that they're both gonna get suspended unless they can make their story make sense, and to tell it all the way from the beginning.
