Many of these budget fragrances do, and when you try similar scents that are of higher quality, the synthetic nature really stands out. I purchased Ferragamo F Black first because of the hype, so naturally I wanted to see what this one is about.

Also it smells super masculine and peppery projecting everywhere you feel super confident since almost nobody wearing this frag these days. I'm at my second bottle, this is a very good cheapie from the great Olivier Polge, I always get an unsolicited compliment from my gf when I wear this and no, she does not compliment every scent. As a person who isn’t really into over the top sweet scents, this works quite well in bridging a gap of semi sweetness and a lavender dominant fougere type fragrance, albeit there are many out there ( eg: Le Male, Montblanc Presence) and actually reminded me of them. From the moment I first encountered this fragrance, I was captivated by its unique and invigorating scent.

The pyramids seem to be exactly the same on paper, but if I’m being honest I like the drydown on the one a lot better, but I like the opening on Ferragamo F black better. I think this perfume really shines in the later stages of its development, when the bold opening notes have softened and things start to smolder from my body heat. take the LNDLH drydown, dissolve it in the spirits and add a boring synthetic sweet note into the top range, so you'll get F Black.

My first impression is that it has the freshness of Versace Pour Homme and the spiciness of La Nuit De L’Homme. I recommend this perfume only if you are the type of man that is 120% confident in how he looks, how he acts, talks and goes about himself. I see a lot of people like this for warm weather but I like this as a cool weather scent, and is perfect for the office or a professional setting.It’s still not clear to me how naive I was to believe wise youtubers and frag community members who supposedly know so much about perfumes and fragrances.

Entrando en la base la lavanda baja un poco y entra en juego lo que asumo como un acorde de cuero-flores-resina, que le da una cierta profundidad y cuerpo al aroma. I clearly smell lavender, apple, black pepper, as well as tonka bean which gives it a powdery touch. I feel it does need some high heat to perform though, so you can spray this deliberately and people won't choke on this. But alas, the all too synthetic leather (or rather “pleather” note), misplaced in the "base" of the note pyramid, never showed up much in the sillage of this fragrance.

It's not blended as well as a Chanel or a YSL, so it feels a little rougher, but for what you are paying for, that is to be expected.
